If you have a Pinterest account like me and millions of other people you, you probably have some fashion inspiration pieces you’ve saved over time. This top was one for me. An open back, adjustable tie at the waist top by Oresund Iris. I wanted it but it is not in my price range for a top ($540.00) and I said I was going to try make “all” my clothes now, not just the African print. When I started taking sewing for myself seriously again, I was only making stuff I could not find in stores which was mostly the African print, this year my goal is to make most of everything I wear.
Anyway, I added the pictorial step by step as well to show how it was made.
I definitely am planning on making this top a few more times. There was quite abit of hand sewing/stitching with the inside of the collar, waistband and sleeves but it wasn’t hard.
Let me know what you think. Until next time,
WHAT. A. QUEEN!!!!!
